Donkey is a talking donkey from the Shrek films, and the loyal companion
of the ogre Shrek. Donkey is a happy-go-lucky character who loves to be
involved in everything. He meets Shrek by accident, which results in a
lack of peace for the ogre. Donkey enjoys singing and idle chatter, and
is sometimes annoying to those around him. Donkey is also colorblind and
afraid of heights, in addition to being a bit of a coward. He also has a
very optimistic outlook on life,
