Weasels feed on small mammals, and have from time to time been considered vermin, since some species took poultry from farms, or rabbits from commercial warrens. They occur all across the world except for antaractica, Australia, and neighboring island. They have long, slender bodies, which enable them to follow their prey
into burrows. Their tails may be from 22 to 33 cm (9 to 13 in) long.
Weasels have a reputation for cleverness and guile. There are numerous Weasel species that all vary in size, colour and slightly with their behaviours
depending on where in the world they live. The Common Weasel (also
known as the European Weasel and the Least Weasel) is the most
wide-spread and can be found across much of the northern hemisphere.
