Tapir

The Tapir is a very large round animal that has the same shape as a pig. It features two long pieces on the face that is a prehensile trunk that they use for gripping. They use it to help them grab fruits and leaves from trees. The Tapir is a herbivore and will move around its habitat for hours per day looking for food.
The Tapir lives both on land and in the water. They can grow to a long of 7 ft and weigh up to 700 pounds. They are very aggressive and they move very quickly for such a large animal. At this time they are considered endangered.Four species of tapir exist on the planet today. All are closely related, although the Asian (often called Malayan) tapir lives in Southeast Asia, while the other three live in the Americas. The Baird's tapir lives in Mexico and Central America,
