Adio Footwear manufactures skateboard footwear and apparel for both men and women. Adio Footwear is a brand of K2 Sports in United States and other countries. Fascination with wheels dates back to the beginning of the last century, when activities involving the wheels was at its pinnacle. During the mid 20th century when surfing established itself as a sport in West Coast of America, street kids adapted their bogies and pram wheels for wheels made from clay. A decade later this pastime gained a lot of attention with professional boards and professional demonstrators being introduced. By the 80's clothing companies started targeting street kids who participated and practiced this extreme form of sport. The hardcore punk style worn in US, influenced the skateboarding footwear, apparel and accessories to a great extent. Skate board shoes began selling in bulk to youngsters around the world.
